About The FoodBasket
We are a ministry of LifeChurch Maryborough.
Our vision statement is:
To Show Jesus Love to the Community.
We do this by offering to our members food at low cost and free to those in our community who are food insecure.

The FoodBasket started some 15 years ago and has grown steadily as the needs in our community have increased.
We have a wonderful team, made up of 4 paid staff and 60 dedicated volunteers who make this ministry possible.

MEMBERSHIP
We offer two different memberships
Concession Membership
For Healthcard, DVA Pension & Centrelink Card Holders
Non Concession Membership
For those who do not hold healthcare, pension or Centrelink cards
Products
For Sale Products
We run a truck to Brisbane three times a week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. We offer everyday food items at well below cost.
Free Produce
All donated fruit, vegetables and bread is free of charge and daily limit dependent.
Community Friendly
At the FoodBasket we are committed to our community and as such, support a school breakfast program for around 12 schools in MB. We are part of the MB Faith Based Emergency Response Network and support community initiatives such as Drug Arm, the MB Women's' Shed and Rhema Radio.
